How long will a session last?
Counselling sessions run for 50 minutes
Clinical Supervision (both online and face-to-face) run for 60 or 90mins.
What happens during a session?
Sessions provide a safe space for your child to express their thoughts and feelings through talking, play, or creative activities, depending on their age. I help them explore emotions, develop coping skills, and build confidence. While sessions are confidential, I will offer general updates and guidance on how you can support them.
Do I need to do anything beforehand?
You don’t need to prepare anything, but it may help to reassure your child that counselling is a safe space to share their feelings. If there are any important concerns or changes in their life, feel free to share them with me before or during the first session.
